Yes! How has saying no, impacted you?
As I have learned (at that time thinking a cruel) truth, you must TAKE the time, for everything you want to do, including for yourself. My mindset was, if I ‘serve’/give/ others (family) Ill be ‘rewarded’ by getting off time, but that never happened and as (maybe) most mothers I burned out. Slowly step by step learning to TAKE the time for myself.It is still tough to say NO. Mindset is everything. Thank you Ciara for helping and guiding women to stronger mindset. We are our own CEO of our life, and that requires to think about us first than to help/serve/give others, however it sounds selfish, it is crucial, how do we want give if we dont recharge? How can we recharge and prepare to give if we dont take the time for ourselves?
Exactly! It’s the societal programming we as women have to “sacrifice” ourselves to be “good” that holds us back. We need to drop that mindset and step into our power and GIVE back more by first starting with ourselves! We need to fill ourselves up SO MUCH that no matter how much we give, it doesn’t take from us. This is thriving and it’s what we need! Thank you for commenting Emilia Paulecova Lopez!! xo
