Hey Ciara, Does this mean classes like body pump at goodlife once or twice a week with a lot of reps is bad for you?
Not necessarily bad for you, but you want to challenge yourself by lifting as heavy as you can. It’s also a good idea to do that in combination with other weight training activities. You can do some cardio, but it needs to be balanced with exercises that are helping you retain and gain muscle too.
Ciara Foy Thanks for the feedback, I usually do 1/2 hour intense rpm and then weights 10-12 reps of as heavy as I can go, right now thats 20lbs free weights, but mix up my weights (machines/free style/body pump/abs) each day to try and keep it balanced! How much protein do you recommend eating for fat loss? I put on a lot of weight after my husband and I separated and I’m having a really hard time taking it off compared to when I’ve tried to lose weight in the past.
