My family benefited immensely from the advice we received from Ciara. I reached out for information around the time we were ready to introduce solid foods to my infant daughter and the doctor told us she was falling off the growth curve for weight.
As any new parent will learn, there are a plethora of choices and many differing opinions from the inner circle of family, friends and trusted advisors as to which decisions are best. Ciara was very supportive and gave me the information I needed to make informed choices and to be confident in my decisions.
As time passed it became clear that my daughter had issues with allergies and leaky gut. Ciara was able to give me a plausible explanation for what was happening and solutions I could easily implement.
A balanced, common sense approach to nutrition is a wonderful start to any life and an improvement to our adult lives. There are so many good things that are simple to do and we’ve implemented them into the daily routine for our family. I am happy to say that my daughter has outgrown the leaky gut problem and some of her allergies. I have been learning more and more about nutrition. I give you credit for fuelling that interest and I thank you for it. In fact, what I have learned and from what you have taught me, I have made quite a few changes for our family. I think we did okay in the nutrition department before and we’ve always been very active – running, biking, etc. even since having our daughter, but there is always room for improvement. I now frequent my local health food store and try to make sure that what my family consumes is, like you say, dense in micronutrients and not processed food.

Since getting to know Ciara I have made great changes in my family’s diet and overall health. My biggest challenge is feeding my family on a tight budget, and the poor quality of food that’s considered affordable for those of us who have a low income.
